VOTE. If You Are a Resident of the Fourth Supervisorial District and Eligible to Vote

  • Be sure you are currently registered to vote. If not, register by Monday, July 31 to vote in the August special election.
    • If you miss the July 31 deadline, you can still cast your ballot with conditional voter registration – you can find more information here.
  • If you are currently registered, you can cast your vote to elect your next county supervisor now! You should receive your ballot via mail shortly, and there are several ways you can vote prior to election day.
    • Mail - Upon receiving your ballot, you have the option to vote by mail, as soon as it arrives. Simply complete your ballot, sign and date it, then mail it back - no postage required. If you choose to mail your ballot, it must be postmarked on or before August 15 to be counted. See more here.
    • Drop Box - Now through August 15, drop your completed ballot off into any of the official ballot drop boxes. There are 29 of these boxes conveniently located throughout District 4. See locations here.
    • In Person - Vote early in person. From Saturday, August 5 through Monday, August 14, seven vote centers across the district will be open for in-person voting from 8am to 5pm. See locations here.
  • Tuesday, August 15 is Election Day. You can vote in-person at any of the 14 vote centers, which will be open from 7am to 8pm. Alternatively, you can drop your completed ballot into a ballot drop box before 8pm on election day. All polling locations can be found here, and your closest polling location is listed on the sample ballot and mail-in ballot you will receive or have already received.
