She, Her, Hers

Stacy serves as the Acting Director of Development. She joined the ACLU in 2019 after serving as a courtroom deputy and litigation paralegal.

A San Diego native, Stacy attended San Francisco State University for undergraduate and graduate work in English and Ancient Mediterranean Literature. She’s spent most of her adult life in San Francisco and Oakland, but she loves being back in San Diego.

In addition to working at the ACLU, Stacy serves as the Chair of She Fest, a volunteer group centering the diverse experiences of LGBTQ+ women and people who feel at home with “she.” She sits on the San Diego board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) as the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) Chair and incoming IDEA Vice President. She is a proud founding member of the Queer Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern Desi American Coalition (QAPIMEDA) and a former volunteer manager of the San Diego Pride Festival.

Stacy has served as a panelist and speaker on topics ranging from volunteer recruitment and empowerment, creating trans-inclusionary women’s spaces, and diversifying philanthropy.

Stacy resides in San Diego with her partner, their adorable dog and two loveable cats.
