Snowden provided that evidence, at great personal risk.Snowden is a politically-charged, pulse-pounding thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley. It reveals the incredible untold personal story of Edward Snowden, the polarizing figure who exposed shocking illegal surveillance activities by the NSA and became one of the most wanted men in the world. This is the epic story of why he did what he did, who he left behind, and how he pulled it off, making for one of the most compelling films of the year.A special preview screening for ACLU members and supporters takes place on Tuesday. September 13th at 7pm at the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Theatre at the Museum of Photographic Arts at 1649 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92103.
