Join us for a gala reception, dinner, silent auction, live entertainment, and special tributes to our founders and clients as the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties celebrates its 75th year of fighting to protect civil liberties in southern California.

Noted constitutional scholar Erwin Chemerinsky will deliver the keynote address, and Tom Smothers of the irrepressible Smothers Brothers will share his humor.

Our founder Helen Marston recognized the need for a local organization to fight for the freedom of all and founded the San Diego ACLU in 1933. Marston devoted her life's work to protecting and strengthening fundamental human rights, providing equal treatment of laborers, ending armed conflict, and ensuring adequate social services to the poor.

To honor her and all our heroes and fighters in the subsequent decades, we invite you to our very special dinner party.
