Croston grew up in San Diego and received her bachelor’s degree in Geography and Sociology from the University of Edinburgh. While in college she was involved in the national Youth Stop AIDS Campaign for three years, advocating for better prevention, awareness, and care for individuals living with HIV in Scotland and beyond. Gaia also spent time working on student newspapers and with community organizations including the Centre for LGBT Health and Wellbeing. She is delighted to join the ACLU team and as Advocacy Associate, she hopes to connect many community members to opportunities that allow them to grow and effect positive change.
