In response to our many requests for information about raising money on our behalf, we have developed the following toolkit to make it as easy as possible for you to be a fundraising ambassador.

Federal law allows people 70 1/2 and older to make direct contributions of up to $105,000 per year to charitable organizations from their traditional Individual Retirement Account (IRA). This is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). QCD gifts are withdrawals that are not treated as taxable income and also count toward your annual Required Minimum Distribution.
