Mechelle Negrete brings more than 10 years of non-profit operations and project management experience to the ACLU team. Her previous academic and professional work spans museums, native language documentation, public and mental health initiatives, community grassroots building, and more. She consistently champions the rights and welfare of others through social justice and environmental advocacy in her daily life.
In her free time, Mechelle enjoys playing music, riding bikes, reading, rock climbing, and camping with her dog and friends.
